Carol began singing with Musica Viva in 1986 until her second child arrived and she could no longer zip up her dress more than half-way. With an undergrad degree in Music Education, she worked with the Bluemont Concert Series, Grafton School and began writing grants for Shenandoah University. While there, she received an MS in Arts Administration and began working in donor relations. Carol has sung in church choirs and for the Arts Chorale of Winchester. As a piano major (she really wanted to be a dancer….Mom said no!), she did not receive very much vocal training. So singing with the talents present in ‘Viva', she has learned how to sing with the best! A side note: she REALLY wanted to be a backup singer/dancer for Tina Turner!
