The Very Reverend Justin Ivatts serves as Rector of Grace and St, Mary’s Episcopal Churches in Berryville, VA. Justin has been ordained eight years and has served parishes in McLean and Berryville. Justin also serves as Dean of the Northern Shenandoah region of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. Before ordination Justin had a career in sales and marketing within the publishing and healthcare industries. Justin also served as VP of Technology for the Washington, DC chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Justin is originally from London in England and has lived in the United States since 2003. He has a Bachelor of Theology from the University of Oxford, a Diploma of Music from The Open University and a Masters in Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA. Justin is a leader of overseas pilgrimages and is currently applying to PhD programs to explore this area of Christian discipleship further.

Justin has a love of classical music and is an amateur organist. He has also sung bass in choirs, but the ministry keeps him pretty fully occupied now. Together, with Viva singer, Wendy Oesterling, who is Director of Music at Grace, Berryville, Justin has built a superb music program and supports music as an integral part of worship.

Justin is married to Heather, a Registered Nurse, and has one son adopted from Korea, Miles who is 15.
