Winchester Musica Viva Ignite a Passion in Song


Karen Schlosser, accompanist, is active as a collaborative musician in the Winchester area and has been performing for 40 years accompanying musicals, operas, choirs, and recitals as well as singing in and directing various vocal ensembles.  Karen is accompanist for the Top of Virginia Youth Chorale at Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy, the Winchester Community Choir at Victory Church, and choirs at several high schools in the surrounding area.  She also serves as director of music at First Christian Church and teaches private piano.  She holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Western Michigan University and has completed post graduate studies in piano and voice at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland.
