Winchester Musica Viva Ignite a Passion in Song


Heather Foster┬áhas been accompanying ever since she was recruited to fill in one week before her eighth grade choir concert. Since then she has played for choirs throughout Northern Virginia. She also plays in pit orchestras and is currently accompanying vocal students at Shenandoah University. Heather graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor’s degree in music. She has used her training in various pursuits such as directing theatrical productions, teaching piano, and teaching high school music. Heather also enjoys singing and joined Musica Viva last year as a singer. She has played several roles in music theater (Peter Pan, Cosette, Cinderella) and recently presented a program of songs from World War I.
